Wow. No joke. It's New York brought to Texas.
Bagels. Pastrami. Fresh cream cheese.
Great service. The owner made us feel like home. -

I love the pastrami egg and cheese bagel on a everything bagel. It's the only item I have tried in my 7-10 visits.
Give this place a try you will not be disappointed. -

I was at a four star after my first visit. Has the italian which was good but nothing to write about. Went back and had the triple (corned beef, pastrami and swiss), that was a home run.
It's all a bit pricey but if you can do a $10 sandwich then this is a good spot. Good selection of sandwiches, a few sides. -

Finally went to try this place with my daughter who was in town from Boston. I grew up in the Northeast, where deli's are ubiquitous, and have lamented the dearth of neighborhood delis in my 25+ years here in Austin.
Today I got to try the pastrami and a bagel. They're the real deal, the folks working were all friendly and quick, and the food was awesome.
No sign of any 'small bagels', perhaps they changed, but the poppy seed bagel I tried was excellent. I'd be hard pressed to say it was not the best bagel I've had here in Austin.
The pastrami reuben? Let's just say this - they could sell that in any Northeastern city and be successful. Delicious, plentiful and tender, the pastrami was spiced perfectly and paired appropriately with the other classic reuben ingredients.
Four stars because of the New York prices, but really, if you want cheap food, go to Macdonald's. This is authentic northeastern deli food, I'll be back as often as my waistline allows. -

Zero bullshit review: legit east coast pastrami in Austin. Not that thick cut gross stuff "delis" try to pass off. Instead, my man is dropping loaded sandwiches, chewy bagels and lox. I'm the continual food diversity happening in NW Austin Big City is a much welcomed addition.
Plus, the cat behind the counter is a sweetheart. Anyone saying otherwise is a Patty Permit looking for a bad time.
